We started in 2016, but most of you know me from years back, how our products are made at the place where they are bought, from weighing ingredients to finishing. So they can reach the shelves a few minutes after they left the oven or in the hands of the confectioners.
We opened our first laboratory in Romania and then we moved here in the US, and because of the lack of quality Romanian baked cakes and desserts, we started Maria’s Bakery and something increasingly rare in these days are the traditional confectionery products, good to taste and traditionally made. We might not impress with the look, our main focus is the taste and freshness of our baked products.
How we do it
We only use quality raw materials. We do not add improvers, preservatives, premixes. Our cream creams are based on natural cream, special cheeses, butter, and very often cooked egg-based ingredients. That’s why they have to be kept in the refrigerator and consumed in a few days, like any home-made product.
We do not freeze, we do not get ready, we do everything from scratch, from tops to fondant. We only use hands for modeling, assembly, filling and decoration.
We produce every day as much as we think we can sell one day. In the evening we are glad if the windows and shelves are empty, and the next day we take it from the start.
Most of our customers will think that Maria’s Bakery is a special one, and we want to be special, our staff has is the most dedicated one that we can ask, many of them with us in the early years. It’s certainly a reason why your favorite product always has the expected taste.
